Step-by-Step Instructions
2Add Property
Click "Add Property" button (top left corner).
Enter your domain:
https://localanswer.xyz
Click "Continue".
3Verify Ownership
Google needs to verify you own the website. Choose one method:
📁 Method A: HTML File Upload (Recommended)
- Download the verification HTML file from Google
- Upload it to:
/var/www/localanswer.xyz/html/
- Click "Verify" in Search Console
🏷️ Method B: HTML Tag
- Copy the meta tag from Google
- Paste it into the
<head> section of index.html
- Click "Verify"

4Submit Sitemap
After verification:
- In left sidebar, click "Sitemaps"
- Under "Add a new sitemap", enter:

- Click "Submit"
📝 Note: Only enter sitemap.xml (not the full URL). Google automatically prepends your domain.
5Check Status
After submission:
- Status should show "Success" (green checkmark)
- Discovered URLs: 17
- Wait 24-48 hours for Google to crawl

- Visit: Bing Webmaster Tools

"Discovered - Currently Not Indexed"
